This model is Sana Akabishi's Another and is based on a mystical theme inspired by miko (shrine maidens) and onmyoji. She is the first short model in the Marionette Style line and has been specifically designed to be small but also highly poseable. Optional parts include an onusa wand and ofuda talisman.

Incorporating the Marionette Style articulation into a traditional hakama outfit was a real challenge. Also, since this character has a Japanese-style design, we wanted her to be able to sit on her feet in a traditional seiza. But to achieve this, we needed to incorporate special poseability in certain parts. I think it took us about a year in the design phase to figure out how to make the model sit in a natural-looking seiza.

We wanted to see if we could create a small body (140 mm in height) while retaining the full Marionette Style articulation. From there, we added the shrine maiden costume design. Part of the inspiration came from thinking that Emma, who loves Megalomaria and is also quite small, would be thrilled to see an Another at a size suited to rebuilding.
